MARKETING MANAGER - Full time position
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is the largest cultural event in Australia and one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Marketing Manager to join the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
The role includes responsibility for marketing deliverables including development and implementation of strategies that support the Festival’s entire suite of marketing activity including: advertising, web / social media and other digital media activities, collateral development and distribution, development of design briefs and effective communication with graphic and online designers.
The position will report to the Comedy Festival’s Marketing Director and will be responsible for working with and guiding a small team within the marketing department.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in marketing or at least 2 years experience marketing the performing arts and/or festivals.
Strong communication skills are a must as is a keen eye for detail and a passion for the comedic arts. Naturally excellent computer knowledge will be required. An ability to work in a small team efficiently and calmly under pressure in a busy and distracting environment is essential.
