25 March - 18 April
After each sketch during Cardinal Burns during the just shy of 60 minute show, the lights fade out and the crowd applaud as if we are sitting in a studio watching a taping of a sketch comedy show. It's a clap of politeness, because by the time Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns close their show with a sketch about undercutting Turkish taxi drivers singing to 'Sex on Fire'; the crowd doesn't know when to clap, let alone laugh. The sketches are hit and miss - starting off strong (I Know Your Name, Potatoes) but quite often pass on humour in exchange for weird concepts in order to show off how clever the writers are. A real let-down.
