Matt Wilson - Memoirs of a Human Cannonball
Synopsis
Memoirs of a Human Cannonball tells the tale of an ex-human cannonball who, after being found washed up in the Coburg Caravan Park by sideshow presenter and popcorn seller extraordinaire Shopboss Shirl, is put back on the road to present the amazing and true story of his last cannon shot. A shot that resulted in a horrific onstage accident that almost ended his life.
This Rock-u Shock-u Mock-u Documentary tells not only that event but also the colourful history of the Human Cannonball itself.
Songs, stunts, comedy and tragedy combine to discover that while getting shot from a cannon is one thing...it's the landing thats the hardest.
Performed and written by Matt Wilson and Shirley Billings
Directed by Dan Mitchell
