Synopsis
Pretending Things Are a Cock, with Jon Bennett is a photographic exhibition/performance.
'Cocks' is an experiment in contemporary art that delves into the nature of masculinity and sex and exposes the varied societal interpretations of irony.
The large assortment of phalluses protruding from Bennett's groin area range from ordinary household utensils and obscure objects to world-renowned monuments.
The project has taken over two years to compile and has developed a huge fan base.

Jon Bennett has been a stand-up comedian, writer, TV performer and radio presenter for 10 years. He hosted Northcote Storytellers and recently performed in Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, LA and New York (including at The Moth).
