The Polar Bearings - Songs in the Sea, Major?
Synopsis
The Polar Bearings may not be the youngest people to sail around the world. But did Jesse Martin do it with a ukulele… and on crutches?
The Polar Bearings present a maritime musical adventure that circumnavigates the globe, laden with sweet harmonies, oarsome gags and physical comedy.
Luckily, they have life jackets.
In 2009, Margaret Paul and Stuart Bowden were involved in the award-winning ‘Hark,’ at the Edinburgh International Festival. Stuart also performed in The Hayloft Project’s award-winning ‘Yuri Wells,’ and supported Swedish singer/songwriter Jens Lekman. Margaret contributes regularly to the Age and featured with Lawrence Leung on 3RRR radio.
As the Polar Bearings, they anchor in Melbourne direct from the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the wind in their sails. Ahoy!
