Synopsis
Giving: it's had a pretty bad rap over the years but when it comes to the kind of giving involved in Trade Aid, everyone's a winner, baby! That's the truth! If you'd like to dip your karma in hot chocolate this Festival, Bella Union presents two smooth, creamy possibilities:
On Saturday 3 April, the Anarchist Guild Social Committee calls to order its second Annual General Meeting. Sparkling sketch comedy ahoy, brimming with top-shelf talent and soaked through with special guests and hilarity, and all proceeds go to Peter Mac!
And on Saturday 10 April, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre benefit returns for its seventh outing of musical merriment and ridiculousness - this year, do the Loco-Motion, take good care of your baby, feel like a natural woman and get into "Something Good" as the remarkable Carole King joins the pantheon of honourees.
Giving: it's the new taking! Come give some.
