Fixed term contract position
Melbourne International Comedy Festival is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the team of one of the world's biggest comedy festivals.
The Marketing Coordinator will work with the marketing team to develop and implement campaign strategies across the 2012 Comedy Festival. They will be responsible for coordinating all the Festival’s printed collateral, artist artwork, copy and advertising.
They will also manage the Festival’s advertising campaign across print and digital media. This includes managing bookings, schedules and delivery of all ads. They will work with the marketing team assisting in the areas of website, ticketing and reporting.
The Marketing Coordinator will provide support to independent artists participating in the Festival.
The Marketing Coordinator will need to be a great communicator, have experience in working within a high pressure environment, understand the principles of advertising particularly in a printed media environment, have loads of energy and a sense of a humour.

Deadly Funny Coordinator
Part time position
Work for one of Australia’s major cultural events co-ordinating a key national development program.
Deadly Funny is Australia’s original Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander comedy development program.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is looking for an energetic and motivated coordinator to deliver and help build the program nationally.
This exciting role will deliver Deadly Funny workshops and performances across Australia. Under the direction of the Deadly Funny Executive Producer, the co -ordinator will liaise with venue partners, arts organisations and communities nationally.
The Coordinator’s role will be integral to the growth and popularity of this development program
