They are fast becoming a comedy revolution at the festival with sell out shows and the night I saw them they almost sold out a bigger room at the Town Hall than their normal space at The Bosco. This show is thoroughly enjoyable, Aamer Rahman and Nazeem Hussain spilt the time and do their stand up individually. To begin each we watch a video montage of news bits, and racially stereotyped hollywood movie bits spliced with footage from the 50's sci fi flick Invasion of the Body Snatchers accompanied by NWA to great effect. The guys both derive material from being 'brown' people in white Australia which resonated with the majority of the audience who were a good mix of ages and race. Their stories are biting with energy and include sound commentary on work events and Melbourne's issues with violence against Inidan students. The best parts were personal stories about living at home, their mums and school bullies. I loved it!
