Mat feels trapped. The politicians won't stop pandering, the media won't stop misrepresenting and tofu stubbornly refuses to taste like anything other than tofu. Things could hardly be worse. Until he gets locked up with a boatload of potential terrorists.
Hilarity ensues as the incompetent Mathew Kenneally plots his Great Escape.
Mathew Kenneally has quickly and quietly become the go-to guy for topical political laughs on the Australian comedy circuit. His debut solo show won the Best Comedy award at the 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival, and he was subsequently nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2008 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Mat is the co-founder of Melbourne’s monthly news based comedy night Political Asylum (politicalasylum.com.au), and co-author of the popular satirical blog Diary Leaks (diaryleaks.com.au).
Mathew Kenneally’s humour is topical, satirical and biting, all delivered with a smile.
