It’s easy to be happy. Get a job, fall in love, work hard and that’s it, you’re happy.

We’re told that’s the formula, but deep down we know it’s not true. There is no sunset to ride off into and there’s a reason 'Happily Ever After' is only found in fairy tales.

Simon Keck delves into our absurd efforts to find contentment in a show that’s darkly hilarious, intelligent, and insightful. Showing that our obsession with happiness is exactly why we’re so miserable.

It’s going to get weird, but a good weird, like when you feed your neighbourhood dogs small notes so that when people clean poo off their shoes they receive the kind of sage fortune cookie wisdom you can only get from a dog's insides. You know, that kind of weird.

"The most accurate, clever stand-up about working in an office I've heard." The Funny Tonne (about last year’s  Dead Under Fluorescent Lights)

“Keck is already creating the sort of buzz that would make Chris Lilley proud.” 774 ABC Radio

Reviews

"Helen Razer's top "button pusher" pick for the festival"
Citysearch

"His train of thought is clearly overloaded with zany ideas. His verdicts were artfully reasoned and drew belly laughs."
Herald Sun

"I liked Keck much more when he was being a total c*nt in the body of a decent guy. His cruellest observations were his funniest"
The Enthusiast

"It’s Keck’s delivery of the absurd and deeply personal that makes him worth watching"
