It's Dr Professor Neal Portenza's birthday! And guess what? You're all invited, you lucky ducklings!
Guests will be equipped with party hats, Walkmans - or is the plural Walkmen? Or more politically correct, Walkpeople? Whatever. Personal Battery Operated Audio Tape Devices - and a special button pad for your interactive enjoyment. And there's a lot of interactive enjoyment. Even the most reluctant to audience participation will get a kick out of determining Neal's actions, or being trusted with a potentially harmful stress ball or two. Not even a sticky, evil blob of plot substance in the form of his birthday-ruining brother stops the fun and games.
Ambitious and chock-full of technical wizardry, silly props, and dodgy impersonations, you'll be smiling from start to finish. There's nothing else in the festival like it.
(Note to self: delete all that Walkman nonsense before you submit the review. People may begin to suspect you're incapable of putting together a coherent... writey... thing.)
