Valanga and Leo are always trying to outsmart each other in their brand new show Big Game with incredible and true stories from their lives travelling in Africa, around Australia and right around the planet. They use dance, celebration and language from their different lives to demonstrate that music is everywhere.
In Big Game these two great friends challenge each other to write the greatest song of their lives, together with the help of the audience. Always playing with music, playing with language and talking through their instruments to communicate across cultures, these two master musicians and storytellers quickly develop a strong rapport with kids. To an irrespressible South African beat, they play thumb piano, drums, guitar, saxes, flutes and the original instrument – voice. They perform without a PA and parents are often amazed that they can mesmerise an entire theatre through the power of acoustic music alone.
"I have been involved in booking performances for approximately 8 years and was very impressed with these artists. They performed with loads of energy and commitment. Outstanding fun with the kids."
