Appearing in Headliners
Kumail is a billionaire industrialist, playboy and philanthropist. Witnessing the murder of his parents as a child led him to train to the peak of physical and intellectual perfection, don a bat-themed costume and perform stand-up. (This may or may not be true)
Others believe Kumail to be a Pakistani-born, Chicago-educated comic who broke through with an autobiographical show called Unpronounceable (directed by The Aristocrats’ Paul Provenza). His subsequent move to New York secured him opening slots for Zach Galifianakis and Eugene Mirman, as well as appearances on the late night shows of David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon and Conan. One of the hardest working comedians on the circuit, Kumail has honed an eccentric enthusiasm for Dr Who, cheese and other things that may be considered mundane.
Unlike most comedians, he does not possess superhuman powers or abilities – he makes use of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess and intimidation in his comedy.
“I’d honestly cough up 15 bucks just to hear him riff on true-life tales at a bar”. Time Out NY
