After high-kicking through the Comedy Festival last year choreographer-comedians – Pete Shenton and Tom Roden – are back with a critically adored new show.
Against an exhilarating soundtrack, Pete and Tom take us on a whirlwind rampage through the English countryside. Chaos bubbles in the church tearooms and revolution leaks from under the post office door. Farm parks and yoghurt are sources of emotional breakdown and – along the way – new rules get created, bent, broken and ignored in a vain attempt to take control.
This is much more than a natural disaster; it’s a carefully created revolt that will leave all who encounter it reeling at what they’ve just witnessed.
“Coming from a modern dance background and seeing someone do a complete piss-take on the contemporary dance world, I love it. It’s bastardisation at its best. I was insulted and enlightened at the same time.” Phillip Adams, Balletlab
"Superb… A unique comedy experience, one of the must-see shows of the Festival.****" Herald Sun
“Undoubtedly the funniest comedy act I have seen in the last five years.*****” Three Weeks, UK
“I CANNOT remember the last time I saw a Fringe audience, as one, leap to their feet and give an act a standing ovation. Well, I saw it in the lovely Bosco tent on a ghastly, wet afternoon. And I found myself on my feet too. *****” The Scotsman, UK
“Consistently funny… They can be pretentious, but they can be exquisitely silly, too. Often simultaneously.****” Evening Standard, UK
“Downright funny.” New York Times, USA
