Review by Cathy Culliver
As we reach the half-way point of this madness that is Funny Tonne, I've been starting to worry that I'm just not finding things very funny anymore. But seeing this show allayed those fears; it made me laugh hard and often. The night I attended the guest comics were Wil Anderson, Dave Callan, Anne Edmonds, Tommy Little and Dave Thornton, all telling hilarious stories of some of the worse gigs they've ever done. In a way it's a sort of group therapy session for the performers, as they face up to some of the most depressing and humiliating moments in their career. But luckily it also makes for hilarious comedy fodder, and the audience just laps it up. A really fun show.
