Review by Jonathan Graham
There is no doubt that this one woman show is a great story performed by a very talented actress. I just didn't find many laughs throughout it.
The premise of a small town girl wanting to grow up to be the most famous cowgirl in the world doesn't really parallel with the likes of Blazing Saddles.
The characters are performed incredibly well with minimal costuming and props to assist. All the work is done with Rama's facial expression and vocal talents. The interaction between the characters (especially during some of the songs) is quite clever and will conjure up a chuckle or too.
But overall his would work as a straight out play without the need of billing as a comedy show.
