Review by Jonathan Graham
Two comedy masters join forces for a laugh a minute (actually it's a laugh about every 30 seconds if I'm honest) romp that starts off with the bombshell that they'll both be finishing off their comedy careers this year to focus on writing more books. (Conveniently you can purchase their current books and DVDs at the end of the show, plus get them signed).
The show then takes off with humourous recounts of the writing process, ideas and observations from their day to day life, as well as an hilarious return of a costume from one of their previous shows.
Denise and Judith obviously have the deepest respect for each others comic timing and career, which is reflected in their performances and banter. They continue to bring out the best of each other as soon as the show kicks off.
If you're still wondering if they really are retiring from comedy or if it's a John Farnham style rouse to sell more books, you'll just have to head along and enjoy the show to find out.
