It's the closing event with a top-secret line-up of the best Australian and international acts from across the Festival.
A must-see event (for those in the know) and it always sells out, which is just as well as the Moosehead funds new and innovative comedy shows, helping us keep amused for generations to come.
The Brian McCarthy Memorial Moosehead Awards Benefit is as old as the Comedy Festival itself and provides the bulk of the funding for the Moosehead Awards.
The awards are in fact a grant, which supports new work, launching shows from acts like Sam Simmons, Sammy J & Randy, Asher Treleaven and Justin Hamilton.
The Moosehead Benefit is a final night line-up show that brings together the Festival's biggest names with that year’s buzz acts.
