The characters of Cannonball are deceptively everyday. You work with them. They went to your school. You met them once at a party. But you've never before seen them quite like this.
2012 Melbourne Fringe Festival award winner and direct from hit seasons in New Zealand, Cannonball catapults us into a world both suburban and extraordinary. Darkly revealing and disturbingly funny, ten characters struggle with life, mortality and happiness, as Green Room Award winner Emily Taylor morphs and mutates between them. From a macabre psychiatrist’s receptionist, to a faux spiritual CEO, to an evil Cabbage Patch Doll, these characters are at once fiercely satirical and delicately nuanced.
Playful, daring and powered by a unique combination of comic fervour and compelling vulnerability, Cannonball packs a funny and surprising punch.
