2013 Moosehead Award recipients presented with the help of The Comedy Channel on FOXTEL

Kate McLennan & Wes Snelling Standard Double

What’s the first thing you do when you walk into a hotel room? Kate steals the shower caps; Wes checks that the toilet paper has been folded into a triangle – then they both raid the mini bar.

Festival favourites Kate McLennan and Wes Snelling come together for this unique comedy collaboration. An experience like no other, Standard Double is a show performed in a hotel room at The Blackman about people misbehaving when they're away from home.

Limited seating. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Kate McLennan has spent the last 12 years entertaining audiences all over Australia with her character comedy and laconic brand of stand-up. She has won the Melbourne Fringe Best Comedy Award, received a Barry Award nomination and her TV appearances including Offspring, The Project and The Mansion.

Melbourne's own Wes Snelling has a "wicked sense of comic timing" (The Age). Wes is a celebrated Australian artiste whose work has garnered him various awards, endless acclaim and seen him tour internationally.

Reviews

"Do I go so far as to say this is the most fun you can have in a hotel room? Maybe not – but it’s got to be pretty close."
