This is narrative comedy at its best. A combination of philosophical and observational thought experiments, taking a jab at wrong words in different languages, childhood memories, short and sharp juicy jokes and some weird ideas, makes this show unique, interesting, honest and challenging.
LijRetta, as a kid philosopher, growing up in the Valleys of Ambassell, in Ethiopia, and living in Australia for a long time, believes that he has stuff to say. His menu of laughter includes intellectualised shit jokes, how he learns swearing and naughty words from a dictionary and discovers some interesting facts.
Abandoning his academic pursuits in Australia, he has done his homework in comedy successfully, too: RAW Comedy Competition 2012 – DONE, Melbourne Fringe 2012 – DONE, Adelaide Fringe 2013 – DONE. Melbourne Comedy Festival 2013 – now you’re about to enter his world.
