There are currently two positions available at Melbourne International Comedy Festival:

Digital Marketing Coordinator – 31 week contract starting on 6 October 2014

Office Manager – 12 month contract starting on 20 October 2014

 

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will develop and implement campaigns that support the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s marketing objectives with responsibility for managing the creation and delivery of the Festival’s websites and various online applications.

The role has an audience retention and acquisition focus with an emphasis on electronic and web-based initiatives – including the Festival’s electronic direct mail (EDM) campaigns, social media platforms and Festival website content management.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will oversee the Festival’s online advertising campaigns, social media campaigns, video content, and digital distribution of content.

The 31-week contract will commence on 6 October 2014.

The Office Manager works closely in a support capacity with the Festival team on a wide variety of tasks related to the day-to-day business of the Melbourne Comedy Festival. The primary responsibilities of this position are the creation and maintenance of an effective, supportive, efficient Melbourne Comedy Festival office environment in order to protect the sanity of all staff and the presentation of an efficient and accessible first point of contact for the public.

An administrative assistant will be employed from early January and a receptionist from early March through to the conclusion of the Festival to assist with enquiries and day-to-day administration during the busiest period of the year. These positions report to the Office Manager.

The 12-month contract will commence on 20 October 2014.
