Some things don’t look impressive until you know how difficult they are. In this show, one boy had what looked like a wooden spoon in his mouth, with the handle out and on the end of the handle, he balanced a non-spinning basketball. If you want to know how hard that is, try it. Everything in this show was that impressive. Take your kids to experience wonder, but make sure to applaud yourself, because silks, hoops, acrobatics, juggling and trapeze at this level are all amazing. Let alone that the show features children who could still star in a coming of age film. Don’t expect laughs; for a comedy festival show, it’s not funny, but when it’s this good, it doesn’t need to be.
