Review by Mika Tsoi
Higginbottham is both a nerd and a sports nut, and tries to reconcile the two and how they fill the absence of faith and family in her life. Almost a sociological survey through laughter, she has a pixie-like energy which she applies to pole dancing nicknames and Harry Potter references and her love of the club that started with a lot of hope but now has only ash in its mouth, the Carlton Football Club. The only bone to pick is that she incorrectly places Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction in 2009, not 2004. That aside, Higginbottham delivers a delightful show, leaving you entertained and her not out of breath.
