Justin Hamilton Johnny Loves Mary Forever 1994

Review by Mika Tsoi

Hamilton's show is so tight, strong and polished, it could be worn as armour for a duel. From the first line right through to the resolution, from Afghanistan to wanting to write his name in cement, through characters who deserve their own sitcoms, he adds details like Hitchcock to keep you engrossed. I remember laughing a great deal and yet it was the tension and thrill that stayed rattling around in my head.
