Review by Mika Tsoi
Southern rocks out to the Hives, and so paid tribute to one of their album titles by writing a show about how he came to be a comedian. He started as a bartender and a wine waiter, tying neatly into a comedian's drunken winery tour to where he met the current love of his life. I particularly enjoyed Australian capitals as women, the reverse mugging and international Tiger flights. Southern rolls his jokes out like the best bar room story teller: he knows when to hit and when to stop. A lovely show.
