Melbourne audiences, interstate and international guests came out in droves for this year's 27th Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is Australia’s largest ticketed cultural event and a key fixture on Melbourne’s event calendar.

2013 Festival consisted of:

  • 459 shows
  • 5,671 performances
  • 1,390 performers
  • 130 venues
  • 1,200 support staff
