Melbourne International Comedy Festival proudly presents

Brendon Walsh Bearded, Juvenile (USA)

Brendon Walsh is many things; a “rascal” (Esquire), a “devilish japester” (Chortle), but most of all, Brendon Walsh is Bearded, Juvenile.

After a popular Melbourne debut in last year’s Headliners, Brendon returns with a new solo show where he's going to say some bad words and tell some stories into a microphone because it's fun to do that.

In Bearded, Juvenile Brendon explores the responsibility of growing up and becoming an adult, mainly because it’s kind of a rip-off; dumb job, paying bills and boring small talk about the dumb job and paying bills. Adults are all about making up rules, enforcing those rules and bossing everyone around. And that's just not what Ol' BW is into.

Bearded, Juvenile: he’s about not taking adult life so seriously! Make a few crank phone calls, troll some people online, wear a fake moustache to work, egg a cop car...you can if you want to! Sure you're a grown-up, but you don't have to be very adult about the whole thing.

Brendon Walsh has appeared on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel, Last Comic Standing and John Oliver’s Stand Up Show, and his Comedy Central Half Hour Special was the highest rated episode of the season.

“The epitome of a rascal.” Esquire Magazine (USA)

“Walsh is dry, dark and extremely dirty.” Herald Sun

“Sheer madness. You just have to love him and bear with the hilarious consequences.” Serial Optimist (USA)
