Deaf Access

Once again the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is committed to making a number of its shows accessible to patrons who use AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language).

The Festival will have a number of shows and events interpreted by AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) interpreters.

How to book:

  • Select a show from the list below. You can check out their page on our website by clicking the link.
  • Once you have chosen a show, contact the relevant ticketing provider to make sure you book a seat with the best view of the interpreter.
  • Please come back and check this site, as more interpreted shows will be added!

If you have any queries that the ticketing provider cannot answer, please contact our Venues Manager, Brian Robertson at brian@comedyfestival.com.au.

Please note that this program is not a curated event. The independent producers of each of these shows have nominated and arranged for their shows to be interpreted. The Festival does not take responsibility for the content of the shows.
