Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Once the Festival opens on Wednesday 27 March 2024, tickets for shows at the following venues (Melbourne Town Hall, Trades Hall, Max Watt’s, The Forum, Mantra on Russell, The Victoria Hotel, Swiss Club, Greek Centre, and many more...) can be purchased at the Melbourne Town Hall box office (open 11am to late every day of the Festival). Tickets for shows at The Famous Spiegeltent at Arts Centre Melbourne, Fairfax Theatre and Playhouse Theatre at Arts Centre Melbourne can be purchased from the Arts Centre Melbourne box office. Shows ticketed through Ticketek are available at Ticketek outlets. Many shows will also sell at the door on the night of the show, unless sold out! Box Office queues can be long and we recommend booking in advance. If you're purchasing tickets on the night, it's best to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to show time.

Please note our box offices accept credit/debit card only. Cash payments are not accepted at these box offices. We don't charge a fee for card payments, so don't forget your plastic!

COLLECTIONS

We’re trying to keep paper to a minimum this year so won’t need paper tickets at any of our venues.

If you purchase your tickets online, make sure you bring your scannable barcode so you can skip the box office queue and proceed directly to the venue.

If you’re still unsure how to use e-ticketing call our call centre team and we can help talk you through it (03) 9245 3788.

If you would like a paper ticket as a keepsake or for peace-of-mind they can be collected from the venue box office. All transactions purchased through comedyfestival.com.au can also be collected at the pop-up box office on the corner of Swanston and Little Collins Streets.

When collecting tickets, please bring your photo ID, booking/account number and the credit card used to purchase your tickets. Tickets can usually only be collected by the credit card holder. Box Office queues can be long - when collecting pre-paid tickets it’s best to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to show time.
