CRASH COURSE WORKSHOP

In the spirit of growing comedy and the arts throughout metropolitan and regional areas of Australia we offer fun, creative workshops or ‘crash courses’ that can be brought to your secondary school or performing arts venue.

A professional comedian comes to you and takes the students through a 2 hour workshop that explores comedy writing and performance skills.

These workshops also encourage confidence, humour and individual creative expression.

The group size for workshops is usually capped at 25 for a better interactive experience.

How much?

$380 + GST + travel costs (if outside a capital city).

DEADLY FUNNY KIDS WORKSHOPS

Deadly Funny Kids is a comedy workshop program for Indigenous young people that can be held in schools or local performing arts/community centres.  Aimed at developing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander comedy skills the program also focuses on building confidence and strengthen positive cultural identity. Deadly Funny Kids can also be a platform to our other development programs. For more info click here.

'Our Comedy unit has become a highlight of the Year 9 school year for not only the students and teachers but parents and the wider community. Developing their own comedy act is a chance for our students to articulate their ideas and understandings; in effect creating their own social commentary of the world in which they live.'

- Susan Cole, Melbourne Girls’ College (VIC)

'Thanks so much for providing a rich and meaningful workshop for my students. I think it enabled many of them to see the comedic potential in themselves and in the way they experience the world.'

- Melissa Leigh, Toorak College (VIC)
