Cheap Laughs


1. Easter Previews – Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 March
Fancy yourself as a bit of a pioneer? Most shows in the Festival offer discount tickets to their Preview Nights. Be the first to see a show, tell everyone you’ve been there, done that – and save some cash. Check the show listings for Easter Preview prices.

2. Tightarse Tuesdays
Short arms, long pockets? Tuesday nights are cheap nights for lots of shows. Look for the international sign of the Tightarse in show booking details and find out how you can squeeze your dollars further.

3. Laugh Pack
The more you see, the more you save. If you book and pay for at least three different shows at the same time, you may qualify for the Laugh Pack price. Most Festival shows have a Laugh Pack price. Check their listing in the Program Guide to see. Your booking must be made through Ticketmaster7 (in person or by phone) or at the Comedy Festival Box Office at the Town Hall.

4. Groups
Gather the clan! Get together a group of friends to go to the same show on the same night and you’ll find that most Festival shows offer a group price.

5. Concessions
Concession prices apply to people who are full time students 26 years and under, full pensioners, Seniors Card holders and unemployed. These prices are available for most Festival shows. Proof of concession eligibility is required.

Snooze Button Sundays
Don’t let Sunday nights scare you away. Lots of shows have earlier start times on Sunday evenings so you can get home with plenty of time for your beauty sleep… or so you can get into the action at the Festival Club even earlier!

Festival Club Deals
Supremo Deal Number 1: Buy tickets to see two different Festival shows on any one night, show both ticket stubs at the Festival Club door and you’re in for $5.00. (Not applicable on Fridays and Saturdays)

Supremo Deal Number 2: Make a Foreign Exchange Deal! See an Australian artist on the same night that you see an overseas artist – keep your ticket stubs and you’re into the Festival Club for $5.00! (Not applicable on Fridays and Saturdays)
