Going to see this show is almost like wandering into Dolores’ lounge room; there are comfy bean bags, the offer of a cup of tea and Dolores introduced all eight members of the audience to each other. Dolores has a slide presentation running in the background with photos to illustrate her tales about her large Catholic family, her mixed up siblings, her handsome husband and her life in Batemans Bay.

This is a good solid show, with nice material and some genuine laughs. The real strength of Dolores’ performance though is her warmth and her easy way with the audience. As I left Dolores and I shook hands but I felt I knew her so well I almost hugged her.
