The car: a successful form of transport that people have been using for thousands of years. Without it, we'd still be driving horses... like poor people and cowboys.

But this kind of invention doesn't 'just happen'. It takes days of hard work, a sound knowledge of pistons and avoiding distractions.

Something Better is about our obsession with distractions (MySpace, iPod, TV... heaps of stuff, really) and how they impact on our pursuit of success... like inventing cars or horses.
