Presented by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and CAE

“Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Few people are interested and the frog dies of it.” EB White

Whether you know your Hughesy from your Hillsy or think Monty Python is that movie about the strippers, if you love comedy, you’ll enjoy this five week guide to everything in the 2007 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Guided by Australia’s premier comedy nerd, Dom Romeo, the Comedy Appreciation course explores the more than 270 shows in the Festival program thematically, with special guest speakers each week drawn from the ranks of Festival performers. Comedy newbies will meet a whole new subculture of exciting performers and Festival diehards will explore the program in greater depth and subtlety than ever before.

By the way, no frogs will be harmed in the making of this course.
