Barb and Fran also work together in an "intercultural communication and training company" they own. They have just finished writing a 620,000 word encyclopaedia of Asian sociology, and are massively getting into Melbourne's cultural life after living in the US for nearly ten years.

I caught this performance on its last night so I’m afraid none of you will be able to run out to Fitzroy and see it, which is a shame because this was a really good show!
Lucy’s investigation into the Robin Hood myth (or history??) covers all sorts of bases, from an exploration of the kitsch associated with it to a trip to Nottingham forest to see for herself … with her 2 vaguely unwilling assistants. Her interviews with fairly clueless Brits are very funny and her own song about the things we learned and should have learned from the medieval period was a gem! I even learned something: 7 Henries (no, NOT 8) and 5 Edwards in the 700 year period between 800 and 1500 C.E. Great job!
