Danny McGinlay’s Coming Soon… is ultimately about stories, particularly incomplete stories. Stories where you don’t have the facts, just the highlights and you fill in the gaps yourself (a bit like stories in the Herald Sun).
Danny's paternal granddad died 25 years before he was born and he has never gotten a straight answer to who his granddad was, so Danny searches beyond the bits and pieces to find out the truth.
Coming Soon... is a hilarious one-man movie epic about a boy, a grandfather he never knew and a story that was never told.
