Adam Zwar, one of the creators behind SBS's cult TV-series, Wilfred, has written two ferociously funny shows for this year's Comedy Festival.
The first, Primrose Hill, details the story of an Australian man who gets mugged outside Liam Gallagher's house at the height of Brit-Pop in 1997. He knocks on the door and asks for some frozen pees for his broken rib and gets slightly more than he bargained for.
The second, Kissing For Australia, is about another Aussie who battles his whole life to get a girlfriend. Finally, when one woman does take the plunge, he's suddenly inundated with offers.
The shows feature Adam Zwar and Paul Denny (Love of Lionel's Life) and are directed by Joy Mitchell (Portrait of Vincent) and AFI Award winner Amanda Brotchie (Headlock, The Inner Sanctum).
