For the past 42 years, The Axis of Awesome have been the world’s greatest band. Like all great musical artists – The Beatles, Madonna, Chingy – they have continued to adapt their style to suit each new generation of music lovers. From their wild and fancy-free beginnings in the 1960s to their disco-infused falsettos in the 70s, their robotic beats in the 80s to their emo stylings of later days, the Axis have truly made their mark on musical history.
Since their ‘extended hiatus’ in 1999, the band haven’t been seen in the same room togther….until now. This is your chance to witness Australia’s newest musical comedy sensation pretend to be Australia’s oldest musical comedy sensation with their (somewhat fictional) Comeback Spectacular!
