Inseparable identical twins Kaye and Berv inherit the family butchery 'Mountains of Meat', a melting pot of secrets, synchronicity and a prize-winning sausage. Kaye was a difficult breech birth and Berv struggled to stay alive, now some dodgy health and safety standards threaten to ruin their business and separate them forever. How far will they go protect their livelihood?

Meat the Musical combines the raw comic talents of two of Australia’s most outrageously different and superbly talented comedians. Amelia Jane Hunter (2007 Moosehead Award recipient, Keith Flipp, Roadhouse) is graceful, controversial and sharp as a blade steak. The chalk to Hunter’s cheese is Hannah Gadsby (Winner Raw Comedy 2006, Comedy Zone 2007), recently returned from comedy success in New York and the Edinburgh Festival, whose droll and dry delivery packs more sinew than a chuck steak stew. These girls are a danger to shipping.
