Melbourne International Comedy Festival presents
*FRI 21st MARCH SHOW MOVED TO THUR 20th MARCH*
The Big Laugh Out, the showpiece of the Melbourne Comedy Festival's free outdoor program, is spreading further afield in 2008. The Big Laugh Out program will be presented at four venues: Federation Square, the Collingwood Children's Farm, and for the first time, both the NGV Australia and NGV International.
Commencing on Easter Weekend, and running Friday* to Sunday throughout the Festival, Melbourne audiences will be treated to a free program of family fun perfect for the school holidays, proving you don't need to be cashed up to be well-fed on laughter.
The Big Laugh Out at Federation Square will delight audiences with Mario Queen of the Circus (USA). A born showman and expert in circus artistry and theatrical comedy, known to reach such bombastic peaks that his favorite arena-rocking super group is a compulsory accompaniment! "Funny, sexy, talented." The Scotsman (UK)
The line-up at Federation Square will also feature the acrobatics of The English Gents, Moosehead recipients Sammy J and Randy, along with a smorgasbord of local and international acts. On Friday nights, stick around after the on-stage shenanigans on stage for a brand new Film Program.
The Big Laugh Out at the Collingwood Children's Farm is the perfect school holiday entertainment, filled with comedy and clowning for kids under 12. Whoever said you should never work with children or animals has obviously never been to this hilarious gig. Wed 2nd of April, 11 am and 1pm .
