Melbourne International Comedy Festival in association with the Australian Conservation Foundation presents
In September 2007, Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore came to Melbourne to train 150 volunteers chosen by the Australian Conservation Foundation to deliver his now famous slide show on climate change. Mark Watson was the only stand up comedian amongst them.
In this special one-off appearance, Mark will attempt to convey the message of the legendary climate change presentation, known to many as the basis of the movie An Inconvenient Truth, but with (a few) jokes. He hasn't done it before and isn't sure what will happen, but, with any luck, it might be a turning point for the planet.
