The exceedingly wealthy Miss Fanny Farquar, British Army Captain Smedley-Downes and the eccentric Lady Maude, also known as Nanny Maude, have already confirmed their attendance. If the rumours are right, Mr Bernard Braithwaite-Ramsey, also known by the inner-sanctum as Great Uncle Bernie (who has a striking resemblance to Nanny Maude) will be disappointing family and friends alike by turning up.
