It's been ten years of hard labour since Rich Hall's Tennessee jailbird alter ego, Otis Lee Crenshaw, first flew the penitentiary coop and debuted at the Comedy Festival. His liquor-fuelled, Tom Waitsian tunes of hard luck, lost love and 'The American Way' captivated audiences across the globe and stocked his trailer with awards and rave reviews.
Now he's back on parole, and he's more pissed than a cut snake soaked in bourbon, and he's gonna tell you all about it with a new show, new songs and a rockin' new support act.
"Side-splittingly, stomach-achingly, oh-my-god-stop-the-show-I-can't-breathe funny." Herald Sun
"Blistering spontaneity, excruciatingly funny banter and heckler put-downs as mortifying as an electric chair." The Guardian (UK)
"The greatest live comedian on earth." The Observer (UK)
"Crenshaw makes a political statement almost just by existing." The Age
