Adventure! Romance! Thrills! Tommy Dassalo has learnt everything about life from watching movies. Unfortunately, 'the real world' doesn't always have a rock ballad and a car chase, but is that so much to ask?
As he peels back the lid of his ordinary life, Tommy discovers the absurdity lurking below the surface. From being held hostage in Fiji, to accidentally humiliating a childhood friend, he bounces energetically through his quest for a happy ending...or at the very least, some kind of musical montage.
Out at the Pictures is a show about losing love, seizing opportunity and wondering why life's best moments don't come with popcorn.
