Upfront 15 took place at the Melbourne Town Hall, on April 20, 2009.
Elaborate, immoderate and definitely effeminate - Upfront was the best of the Festival's stars in bras! An hilarious hall-full of the funniest women from Australia and overseas - from punky to perky, CWA to NWA, Upfront never fails to be full of surprises from the gamut of the ladies of laughter.
It was a shimmering line up of female comics hosted by Corinne Grant and Hannah Gasdby which included Susanna Brisk, George McEncroe, Geraldine Hickey, World War Wonderful (Karin Muizieks, Erin Newington and Louise McCrae), Josie Long, Andrea Powell as Yuri Seriyava, Denise Scott, Astrid and Otto Rot from Die Roten Punkte, Catherine Deveny, Felicity Ward, Nelly Thomas, Fiona O'Loughlin, Celia Pacquola, Sarah Millican and Yana Alana and Tha Paranas (Sarah Ward, Bec Matthews, Frances Evans and Ania Reynolds).
