Ramblings and Misunderstandings is a piece of theatre that involves a mixture of scenes about miscommunication. Some are simply funny, while others are of a black comic nature. There's bound to be something for everyone in the number of short pieces.
This show is performed by a group of adults who attend a recreational drama class at Drama With A Difference – one of Australia's leading independent drama schools. They come from a wide demographic, with some having prior theatre experience, and others braving the stage for the first time. The emphasis in the show is on personal best for the performer, and as such, the piece presents something very different for audiences to see. It offers an opportunity to see non-professional actors facing one of the greatest of human fears – that of performing in public. The drama school's Adult Recreational Class has performed at Melbourne International Comedy Festival many times in the past, and audiences have always greatly enjoyed our shows.
