Danielle Walker (QLD)
Danielle Walker is a strange, if not perhaps slightly deranged performer known for her dark and twisted everyday observations and stories. She was crowned RAW Comedy 2016 National Champion and went on to place third in the UK's prestigious 'So You Think You're Funny?' competition 2016. A talented painter as well as performer, Danielle is quirky, creative and quickly cementing herself as a comic force to be reckoned with.
‘An original comedy voice.’ Chortle (UK)
Rohan Ganju (VIC)
After placing as National Runner Up in RAW Comedy 2015 (much to his father’s disappointment), Rohan Ganju’s expertly crafted one-liners have accumulated millions of views online. He’s performed across Australian TV and radio, but despite this relative success Rohan has failed to fill the void inside himself that he believed would be sated by the approval of strangers. While his style may seem down and despondent, Rohan’s star is definitely on the rise.
‘Exceptional delivery… the perfect mix of absurd and clever.’ Beat Magazine
Tim Hewitt (QLD)
Tim Hewitt started his comedy career in pokie rooms around Brisbane. Five years on he has performed all over Australia, including shows at Perth Fringe World and Brisbane Comedy Festival... and at the pokies. With a true commitment to his characters and stories, Tim has made a name for himself as a professional extra alongside his stand-up success. Look for the back of his head in Neighbours or any period drama on the ABC.
‘Weaves in and out of his material in dream-like fashion.’ Squirrel Comedy
Nat Damena (WA)
Nat Damena's life goal was to be the driver of an ice cream van that only sold Golden Gaytimes. However, having discovered that his dream job had no dental plan, he decided to do stand-up instead. In his two years on the circuit Nat has performed at major festivals across the country, presenting on-point observations, hilarious stories and cracking one liners. His broad and brilliant style has lead to the RAW Comedy WA State Final 2016 and a nomination for Best Newcomer at Perth Comedy Festival 2015.
Tom Cashman (NSW)
Sydney born and bred Tom Cashman is a bit of a pro, complimenting a soaring comedy career with other polished pursuits such as poker and playing the sax. 2015 saw Tom become a National Green Faces Finalist and RAW Comedy NSW State Finalist. Since then he’s performed all over Australia, but when at home he’s a regular at the Sydney Comedy Store.
