(This is not a show about anal.)
When she was 16, Annie Louey (Class Clowns National Finalist) had a near death experience. She started doing stand-up comedy because dying on stage is much more manageable.
Butt Donut made its debut at the Melbourne Fringe with a sell-out season and was featured in the Herald Sun for its inspiring take on grief and pain. Since then, Annie has toured the show at FRINGE WORLD in Perth and the Adelaide Fringe. She now brings the Butt back to Melbourne, bigger and better than ever before.
Annie is also an ambassador for the KIDS Foundation charity and will donate 10% of ticket sales to assist children and adults living with burns and other serious injuries.
In the past, Annie has featured at stand-up and storytelling events around Melbourne including Lemon Comedy, THE REMIX by The Improv Conspiracy Theatre and the Moth StorySLAM. ArtsHub described her performance in Class Clowns as ‘charmingly endearing to watch, let alone hysterical’.
