Clare Cavanagh Literally

Clare Cavanagh Literally

Pocket rocket performer Clare Cavanagh makes her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut with a brand-new, energetic hour of characters and improv comedy. Literally is about caring too much, inciting revolutions and defending teenage girls.

Official selection FRESH 2018 Sydney Comedy Festival.

Clare Cavanagh is a Sydney-based writer, actor and improviser. She has written for ABC Comedy's Tonightly, and has performed at the Sydney Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe, Sydney Fringe and New York City's Del Close Marathon. In 2018, her debut solo show Thrilled You're Here! was selected to be part of Sydney Comedy Festival's FRESH Program, which highlights the best up and coming talent at the festival. She is a member of Improv Theatre Sydney's faculty and is a founding member of all-women improv group Confetti Gun. Clare is a graduate of Improv Theatre Sydney and has trained at NYC's Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre and Chicago's Second City.
